The Wedding Wordsmith was launched in 2001 by a professional poet and speechwriter who resides in a semi-rural area of Sydney’s Hills District, which provides inspiration for many literary creations.
A couple of years later, the number of items within The Ready-Made Collection (a spiral bound book) was enlarged. This new edition was renamed The Ultimate Wedding Word Guide and offered to market as a CD-ROM. This proved popular overseas as well as locally.
Following great demand, in 2009 Customising Your Civil Marriage Ceremony was launched. It was eagerly welcomed by bridal couples and civil marriage celebrants Australia-wide.
The Wedding Wordsmith has similarly been approached by several celebrants to create a book of wording, poems and readings suitable for baby naming ceremonies and funerals/life celebrations. Either or both may become available in the future, time (or clone-technology – lol) permitting.
Currently, The Wedding Wordsmith is focussing on writing other commissioned items for corporate and individual clients.
